Call for Nominations for the 2027 VAHMRS Officers

The Officers and Membership of the Virginia Association of Hazardous Materials Response Specialists extend this Call for Nominations for the 2027 calendar year as follows:

President

Vice-President

Secretary 

Treasurer

Trustee (3 Year Term)

Candidates running for office must be a member in good standing at the time of their nomination. Individuals are encouraged to nominate themselves if they desire to serve the membership. All nominations should include a phone number and/or email address for contacting the nominee to verify willingness to serve if elected. Nominations submitted (and verified) prior to September 14, 2026 will be printed on the ballot for elections. Nominations (with seconds) from the floor during the election process will also be accepted, however, advance nominations are requested to facilitate the election process. Floor nominations for members not present to accept the nomination are discouraged to ensure the integrity of the election process.
